At 145$ after mail-in rebate, and even at 167$ before rebate, this is certainly the most performance for your money you can get. At this price in nVidia usually you get the 7600GT.

ATI's X1950Pro is 185$. A good value also, though not as impressive.

I have a feeling this is part of the dumping of old GSs to reduce the competition against the GF8600GTS.

I suspect that within months if not weeks NCIX doesn't have any eVGA GF7900 GS KOs or plain GSs left.

the 7 series seems to be dropping alot in price lately in australia too with the 7900gs at about $185 now i picked myself one up from ebay for a steal at 100 dollars AUD including shipping(the idiot posted it in the SOUND card section )
