Trying out the Q-fan feature of my Asus P5GD2, but it seemingly has absolutely no effect on fan speed. Yes, I've enabled it in BIOS and connected a Noctua fan to the CPU_FAN connector.

Running a stress test where the CPU temp goes up like 20 deg. C and the motherboard about 10, yet the fan stays at the same speed. (You can slow it in BIOS using a lower ratio, but it never actually increases as temp goes up).

Anyone actually get this to work?

Q-fan is trying to keep it a quiet as it can so unless your temps get REAL hot its not gonna pump it. Those fans are quiet, so i say just leave it off :)
