kk, i'm about to order all my parts (thanks to all the help from these forums so far) and was recommended this antec power supply.
i want to know if this one from coolermaster would work as it's $10 cheaper PLUS a $30 rebate.
the system specs will be:
tuniq symmetry case
asus p5n-e 650i mobo
e6600 (will oc in future to about 2.8-3)
g skill 800 ram - 2x1gb
hauppauge tv tuner - pci
evga 8800gts 320 (doubtful of sli - just upgrade single card most likely)
single dvd burner (lite-on lightscribe 20x) - sata
seagate barracuda 500gb hdd - sata
eXtreme Power isnt one of Coolermasters better lines. The high wattage Real Power (850+) and iGreen models are the only Coolermaster power supplies worth considering.
Eh, price/performance wise it's pretty good. Might want to look at the 500w NeoHE, same price, a little less power (4a), but the quality is a little better. Other then that...
Thanks for the input, i ended up going with the first Antec one i had listed...it was recommended by mpilchfamily so i'm going to hold him accountable for my system . it'll still be awhile till i can build it but all the parts will be waiting on me when i get back to the states - can't wait to do my first build!
