Water cooling gear:

Swiftech Apogee GTX Extreme Performance CPU Waterblock
Danger Den Black Ice GT Stealth 360 X-Flow Radiator (120mmx3)
and a swithtech nb waterblock
No my question is should i ditch the stock cooling on the 8800gts for wc? I would be using a Danger Den Maze5 Video Card Liquid Cooling Block which I already have, along with some heatsinks and a slot fan for the memory.
I would like to oc the card a little, but at this point i think my cpu is bottle necked. It would be nice to have wc consistent throughout the rig, just not sure.
The only way to get results that are better than high-end air cooling is to spend more than 3 times as much money. And then ud only be able to overclock another 50-100Mhz.
IMO why not? you have the gear for it already so why not use the watercooling?i would check though as some vendors will void your warranty for replacing stock coolers(not sure about the 8800 series) however it is possible to change it back before RMAing it anyway weigh up your options and find out if it voids your warranty for replacing the stock HSF...
