In advance thanks for your consideration of:
Trying to flash newly acquired 965P-DS3 with F4, to F10, so as to enable use of E4300.
Set up presently is no hard drive, Celeron, floppy, CDrom, keyboard, mouse, screen, memory. Boots up just fine and can get into bios.
Problem is that the onboard bios (Qbios?)installer gets to the end of the run, then gives a report that there is a problem (I don't have the message here, I want to say checksum or somesuch) with the bios file. Same result with the floppy installer. :x I've done multiple downloads so as so eliminate the possibility of corruption, with no difference.
So I tried to flash F11B, and got the same results.
I'm sure there is something I'm missing (RTFM?) such that I cannot flash this beastie. If anyone's got a clue on this pls. share as I don't want to rip the remaining hair off my head. 8O
