Bit of a problem on my hands here.
I have a USB Netgear Wireless Adapter for my PC (WG111T) and works fine. But, if i insert my 2GB USB stick into the spare Slot, the internet connection will drop. There is no notification saying that a USB device has been disconnected or anything. When going to wireless configuration service, it still displays as connected, even though i have no network functions available anymore.
If i disconnect, it won't reconnect. The only way to reconnect is by physically unplugging the adapater and reinserting it.

Any ideas?

Have you the most recent drivers for the Wireless card?

Yup the driver i have is the most recent one on the website. I'm actually going to return it tomorrow. Any recommendations for a replacement? I guess i'd best be going for a PCI card instead. Any good recommendations for a wireless router also? I have the netgear DG834G.

I'd go with an internal. I have a couple of Netgear 311 cards, work well and no problems. have 2 and used them in 4 machines at different times
