I saw it and the price is right ($110?) for someone who has not purchased
any wires yet, but is the quality there? The way they talk about themselves
on the box it seems better than Monster.

I doubt its noticeably 'better than monster'.... but

Given that Monster cables don't actually do a better job at anything
other than profit margin than any other half decent cable .... I'm sure
they aren't noticeably 'worse than monster' either.

I do not know what is in that kit but that is the problem. How can
one kit apply to the many possible HT configurations out there? I am
certain it would not suffice in most cases and only confuse a newbie
who would assume that it would.

Mebbe you've know that the contents would suit you. If so, why not?
