I was looking to buy a Samsung 226bw last night but then got to thinking maybe I am better off buying two maybe 19" lcd's for a little bit more than one 226bw.... I see 19" monitors going pretty cheap now.. (Samsung $170.00 each for the 941B) looking to start getting into editing and burnong my home movies onto dvd. Your thoughts apprciated.

I'm basically at the same question you are. But I went ahead and ordered another 19" widescreen LCD to go with my current and am going to dual display much for the same reasons you listed.

There's a link to my monitor it's been VERY nice for the price, and now it's super cheap on sale.

Maybe consider buying two of these if you go the dual display route, much cheaper much more screen for the same price as something just a few inches bigger.

I use dual 19" monitors and love it.

I would say if you are a gamer, the larger screen may be better.
I tend to use the dual screens for multi-tasking and love it.

Others may like stretching a game over 2 screens, but I dont care for it.

I've been thinking of getting the 226BW as well. I currently have a 17" Samsung and I still love it. I think having my 17" next to the 226BW would look sharp! Having only misc apps running on the 17". (TV app, sidebar, messengers... etc.)
