Nvidia 8800GTX and Radeon HD 2900 XT power consumption?

does anyone any idea how much power would Radeon HD 2900 XT power consume. i looked few places and they say 240w but not sure. this is really big diffrence of power consumption between 8800GTX and Radeon HD 2900 XT biggest con for radeon HD 2900xt would be it's power consumption

Right because it matters that much. :roll:

the 240W figure was based on the early OEM cards, 24W of which was the fan alone (compared to the 3-5 W of a normal fan).

You're going to have to wait until they ship until real believeable numbers are up.
