I'm after a Intel processor for my pc. My motherboard isn't that great though and I'm not too sure what processors are compatible. Link to my Motherboard is below:
http://www.ciao.co.uk/ASUS_P5PE_VM__6540149

Compatible Processors: Pentium 4, Celeron D, Pentium D, Core 2 Duo
64-bit Processors Compatibility: Built-in
Processor Socket: LGA775 Socket
Multi-Core Support: Dual-Core
Chipset Type: Intel 865G / Intel ICH5

Any recomendations would be helpful. Cheers!

According to Intel's website, that motherboard won't allow Core2Duo chips, but Asus' says it will. You can probably get away with the E4x00 series of Core2Duo chips, but I'm not entirely certain that the E6xx0 series will work.
