Forum Applications : Other Software - Privacy on Internet & Software

Interesting topic... I was wondering if you guys knew of any news sources (both mainstream and smaller), with specific articles, that debate the topic of personal privacy in regards to computer software/internet as it relates to:

- software (for example, windows pulling user information)
- email (gmail scanning emails, gov't getting access to email)
- internet browsing, cookies, IP tracking, etc.
- anything else? (feel free to post about other issues)

I am trying to gather up as many articles as I can that either talk about these issues and/or debate these issues, whether it is a mainstream news source or a smaller news source; blogs; misc. articles, etc.

The point is to show different media sources with different biases towards one or the other, as well as to learn more about the topic and create awareness.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, so please link away! and/or if you see something in the printed paper!

(ALSO: feel free to discuss, and if you know of any other concerning privacy issues in regard to computer/software that aren't listed above please post about those or share information).
