is my computer dying? Tags: Homebuilt Computer Systems Last response: May 3, 2007 10:28 PM in Systems Share corey1505 May 3, 2007 10:06:45 PM I just built a new computer in the last month and I have been getting this clicking noise pretty consistently when I am just getting into windows and some other times too. It is the type of noise you hear when your computer turns off completely, or at least what I use to hear I dunno if it happens with everyones computer or why it happens. I'm just curious why its doing that and if its something that could cause me problems in the future. I haven't had any problems with my new system so far. I'd just back-up my data and not worry about it. There are HD silencers which might muffle the noise if it bothers you. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
