What Version of Vista 64 bit

Hello. I will just be gaming, word processing, writing code, and general uses of the like. Is there a point to getting vista ultimate? Or is another version ok for my uses?

Vista Ultimate is really only for Media Center (television recording, etc.) or multiple PC setups/install (it's the only version that comes with 32 bit and 64 bit DVDs directly out of the box), or Dreamscene. You won't gain a whole lot for gaming or text functions.
