finally i will buy a new desktop but after searching for some information, i still have doubts about what to buy.
I'm thinking on buying a intel E6600 or the intel E6420.
The difference is about 25€ (the E6420 is the cheapest).
The computer will be for some games, working (on matlab 7, fortran95, arcgis 9.2,...), internet, music and so on.
I would prefer a motherboard with wi-fi, but don't let this issue to eliminate others motherboards. This is only a extra. If it as, good, if not, no problem.
My budget for the all desktop (not including monitor and keyboard and mouse) is for 1000€.
So, i believe that for the motherboard and processor, the budget will be near to 500€ (more or less).
So, what are the best choices for the motherboards for those two processors? If you believe that this processors are not the most correct, please advise another.
