RivaTuner is not being allowed to startup with Windows because the Rivatuner I downloaded (latest version) has some sort of compatibility issues with Windows Defender. Does anyone know a work around so that I don't have to step my GPU clocks everytime Windows boots

I had the same problem, I decided to disable the annoying uac and that did the trick

oh yes i know :) , i didn't oc my 8800gts but i use riva to set fan @ fix 100%
