I am trying to connect to the internet on my pda (ipaq 4350) using a blue
tooth connection with my laptop which connects to the net via a LAN. (my
laptop runs windows xp proffesional sp2) i have managed to successfully
pair the devices but on trying to access the internet on my pda i repeatedly
get the message "cannot connect with current connection settings". i have
spent some time trying to change the settings but nothiong seems to work.
has naybody any ideas what i am missing or how to establish a succesful
connection to the internet using this method.

Are you using the Windows Bluetooth software or something else?
If using the Windows Bluetooth software, then the PC can only be a client,
not a server. In this case you have to bridge this connection to another one
on your computer (the one facing the Internet) and connect *from* your PC to
your Pocket PC.
If you are using Widcomm software instead, the you can either use ICS and
share the Internet connectiohn to your Bluetooth adapter and connect *from*
your Pocket PC. Or Bridge the connections and manually configure IP,DNS, etc
on your Pocket PC and connect *from* your Pocket PC.
