Hey guys, I'm trying to restrict internet/browsing access on a Home computer here. I was wondering if after typing "about:config" if there was an entry I could change to false or 0 which would not allow any connections to be made, basically...I just want to cripple the program for a WinXP user.

Thanks

uninstall ff then reinstall it only for your account and not all acounts on the pc ;)

but if you want to kill internet connection all together thats a different thing ;)

There are multiple users on the computer, I just want Firefox (internet) access to be cut off on a specific user account.

cutting off firefox or internet is different things.

to cut off http connections, set that account's IE to use a LAN ip and in the ip box and port type nothing or just some BS numbers.

firefix bypasses ie's settings so you will need to configure ff to do the same in its options.
