I'm looking at the ASUS M2N-Sli Deluxe or possibly the M2N32.
I'll be putting a 8800gts 320, 2 gigs ddr2, and the amd x2 6000 on it.
Will a 500w power supply be enough? I won't be SLIing, or much OCing.

Also can ddr 3200 still work on this board for the time being?

Thanks for any help or better ideas!

Thats a negative for ddr RAM, all am2 socket x2 processors require ddr2,. As for the 500W Power Supply, it should suffice, but I would upgrade to prevent future headaches.

It depends on which 500W power supply you have. If it's a quality one and has enough juice on the 12V rails, it will be just fine. If it's a no-name piece of ****, then you should upgrade. Give us the specs and we can tell you whcih if you don't know yourself :)

Nice choice of comppnents by the way, but, unless you've already bought these components, might I suggest either a) going with intel or b) getting the x23600+ and overclocking it for the time being (for dirt cheap right now) and saving the cash for an upgrade to the K10 processors coming out in Q3? This is the most logical path to take as the 3600+ overclocked will be giving you plenty of power to hold you over until a (hopefully) awesome K10 later.

The PSU is the Thermaltake TR2 500w, I've noticed on my current setup that it is not getting a constant 12 on the rails. So I think I'll be upgrading it soon. But as far as a good 600-700w SLI PSU below $150, what is a good one? I've been looking on newegg but I don't exactly know what to specifically look for. Any help would do!
