Windows Vista Update Intergration

I am planning to build a program to automate the updating of vista install images, in a similar fashion to nLite. I was wondering if you would all kindly help me out, I know what the program has to do and how I will do it, i need input to help give ideas such as what features there should be so that the program is actually useful to end users.
