Yeah I was wondering if folks could help me with the "ANY" key?

All these applications seem to ask you to press the "ANY" key to continue.

I can't find it..

Help please!!!

JT - My cup holder still works... But I had to modify it to fit a 64oz cup..

Thing I am curious about though is the second cup holder.

How do you use it? it is right below the first.. What is up with that design.

It could at best hold a cup no more than 1 inch high if both are in use..

Vern,

Man talk about bad weeks...

I had two builds this week (usually no big deal maybe 30 minutes per build).

The first went VERY well.... The second started on Wednesday and FINISHED about an hour ago... 8O 8O

Shoot me NOW!! :)

Must just be a backup because they break so fast, or maybe I'm just using mine wrong :(

But how about the infamous keyboard message

"No keyboard detected, press F2 to continue"

Logan,

[whine] We had multiple people check code in... All needed to be merged for an engineering release... Again this is usually "no big issue".

One of the tasks of a Dev Lead (here) is being Build Manager as well.

Funny thing, this is before it goes to the formal configuration management team for release. I normally check out the builds and fix any errors prior to release. This has been a huge pain this week. On top of that I got a new engineer and I lost an old one... So I am doing the job of the one I lost and and teaching the new one... Did I mention that I have to do my own job too :)...[/whine :)]

:) :) :)

RunsWindows,

I had a guy actually put 3 floppy diskettes into the floppy drive.

Installing Word 6.0 (whoa I'm old :)) he inserted the first disk. It asked for the second disk and since the first one went in and slipped down the second fit nicely on top of the first. It then asked him to insert the second disk again (he thought the third) so he forced it into the slot and above the first two 8O 8O .

1992 8O 8O

To quote the great Homer Simpson, "To start press any key. Where's the ANY key? I see esk, ka-tarl, and pigup; there doesn't seem to be any ANY key!"

Happy Friday to you as well. Have a beer and cheers!

That sounds like it could have hurt :)

We had a pun master/annoyance :) that was leaving our squadron and on his plaque we put:

Don't get Frost BYTE while RAMming your HARD DRIVE, just do it till your GIGA HURTZ :)

He was a computer geek about to be stationed in Thule Greenland. As it turns out Greenland is NOT that green :).. For that matter Iceland is NOT all ice.

Hmmm you think the country naming guy was drunk during those!

Dude, dude, you know what would be funny? Lets name that Icy place Greenland and the greenish place Iceland. Yeah man lets do it that will mess with everybody..

I thought with the latest computer technology, that any key option could be one or all combinations of the keys a, n or y... my salesclerk assures me that this is an additional charge, but it would be included on my new model freely. ;) It pays to be in the know!

Yeah I just called Dell tech support cuz my cup holder won't come out anymore :(
You are better off than I am, my phone doesn't have the "(", ")", or "-" keys needed to call tech support.

ROTFLMAO  I remember hearing about the keyboards made that way, they had the key on the bottom it was the other side of the space. The cup holder thing reminds me I need to close the windows. (Walks around closing the widows in the house. ) :p

This topic made my day.

That isn't a cup holder. Its for the bowl of chili with some cheese sauce.
Sheesh, some people.
