it appears as though TAT, CoreTemp, and SpeedFan are all in agreement about your Tj.

Oh YEAH!! You have like the perfect OC'ing on air setup. Your temps are almost cold With your system, I'm thinking 3.2 to 3.5GHz.

In theory, the core temps can't be below cpu temps. There's a few of us having the same problem (myself included).

As I have posted many many times, There is no way to read the core temperature directly of a C2D via software. The chip doesnt have the capability. The software programs are making a guess based on some assumed variables like a basline temp of 50 or something, and a Tj Max temp of 85c. Then using these assumed vairables in a formula, they produce a number and call it your temp. They are however fairly acurate in most cases. Just not absolute and this is almost certainly why we see soo many anomolies regarding temps on different configs.

so what you are saying is that my temps are not correct. right. if that is the case what is the best way to check your temps? |

personally, im running under the assumption that SpeedFan, CoreTemp, and TAT Tj is correct and the SpeedFan CPU temp needs to be manually offset to get it inline with the rest, but im certainly not any kind of engineer or tech guru.
