Windows Media Videos colors messed up

Whenever I try to watch videos in Windows Media Player the colors are all messed up.

It looks like this

am i missing a codec or somthing?

download and install klite codec pack

put it in videolan and see how it plays it

What's your color bit-depth set to in your display settings?

I got it fixed by upgrading to the newest version of WMP
