After a few years with my p4 comp I decided to buy a new one, this is what I put up, tell me if I should change anything:

Case: Antec NSK6500 Black/Silver 0.8mm cold-rolled steel construction ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 430W Power Supply - Retail

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

Memory: A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model ADQVE1A16K - Retail

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6600 - Retail

Video Card: ASUS EN8800GTS/HTDP/320M GeForce 8800GTS 320MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - Retail

DVD Burner: ASUS 18X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe and 14X DVD-RAM Write Black SATA Model DRW-1814BLT - OEM

How is it?

I have like 400$ left in my budget so...
The computer is going to be used for gaming and movies.

I upgrade my computer once in a while so I want it to last.

I currently don't plan on OCing but I'll prob do it in a year or two so I want to have it as an option.

The ASUS video card is overpriced for a standard 8800GTS. You can either get the eVGA Superclocked 8800 GTS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130038) for $5 less or you can get the standard eVGA 8800 GTS for $260 after rebate (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130082).

I'm unsure of the quality of A-DATA RAM. I personally like Corsair memory; different people here will tell you different brands.

I also wonder about the quality of the power supply included in the Antec case.

Other than that, it looks fine to me.

I can't get rebate because I don't live in the US so I'll get the superclocked one.

And about the PSU, which one would u recommand for this system?

See this tiered PSU list and choose one in Tier 1, Z, or 2 (or 3 if you really want to save a little money). Personally, I like the Seasonic S12 Energy+ or Corsair HX (which is actually made by Seasonic).

Since you are buying a separate PSU, you may want to look at a different case that doesn't come with one built-in. Antec P180, P180B, or P182 are very nice.

If you have enough left in your budget after maybe changing things (PSU, case, RAM), you could upgrade to a 8800GTX instead of a 8800GTS.

Good picks, and the suggestions are solid. What monitor is the system going to be using? What games are you looking to play? Looks like A-data uses Micron chips, the site is down right now but that is what I read in the cache version. (Oh, that means RAM is Good)

I have the PHILIPS 170S right now but I'm going to buy a new one in a few month

I want to play Oblivion, test drive unlimited, Sims 2 and a few other games

and btw, does the GTX really worth the extra 170$ (from the 640mb GTS)?

"Crapola" that outperforms all AMD X2 processors at stock speed and overclocks better?

Please limit yourself to actually making helpful comments with some semblance of fact to back them up.

Not sure why I'm bothering to reply to you as you obviously don't care about reality.

I am not an Intel fanboy. I use whatever is best when I build a system. Two systems ago was AMD, last system was Intel due to getting a really good deal on it (even though AMD was better performance), and this one is Intel because it is the best available right now.

Everything always varies in the future - you can't say "AMD will beat Intel when so-and-so processor comes out" - it's just fantasy (though it may turn out to be right). AMD's new chip might beat Intel in the near-term and then Intel quad cores in Q3 beat AMD or something completely different might happen - there's no way to know.

I have to agree with you on that.AMD has hit rock bottom. his 6000 is a slow processer for 3GHz.A better chioce would be Intels e6700 $312.They even beat AMDs FX62. Both of my x6800 systems would beat anything AMD has to offer.
