hey all, just finished building a new PC and i want to install XP on a external USB drive, its the only HDD and also it is detected in BIOS and even in the windows setup when u have the options to create partitions, but when i press enter to install it mentions the windows setup cannot properly recognize the connected drive.

I have another PC so i thought about installing windows on the HDD using my other PC.

My question is how would i go about installing windows XP on an external USB hdd that is detected in BIOS and windows setup detects in the partition select menu? also the USB drives work and controllers enabled

The specs for the first PC are

P4 3.0ghz
ASrock Mobo
corsair 512mb RAM
enermax PSU 300W
SATA asus cdrom drive

Also in Bios and boot menu theres option to boot from external drive so i know this is possible, im guessing i have to install some USB drivers right? i thought they were included with the XPSP2 setup
