It's actually a few degrees higher than what my CPU is at < I'm running a Athlon XP 1700+ @ 1.65Ghz and it idles at about 48*C and Works to max out at 53*C

Not to mention that I have an After market Heat sink with OCZThermal Paste, and about total of 3 Fan's cooling that Heat Sink alone. So it keeps my Ambient and working temperature similar to that range you have, What do you have btw AfterMarket or Stock?

Your temperature would could go down if you opened the case up and cleaned all of the dust out of it, and applied new thermal paste to it. But that temperature is kind of high for Stock Speeds< 1.47Ghz and nothing has been adjusted, yea it's a little high about 10 Degrees higher than mine was before all the MODs.

I've done all that, but I think my heatsink is bad with its "cooler master" fan
