Master System Item *in* Phantasy Star Game???

The only reference I can find is through cheat device (Game Shark or
AAction Replay) but nothing else. Even the Gamefaqs.com doesn't have
anything about this item. I suspect it was a placeholder for an item
that was originally planned but never used in the game.
