Hi guys,

I am having a slight problem with ALL of my executable files right now. I accidentally overwrote the default handler of .exe's, and can not, for the life of me figure out how windows handles them. Can anyone think of a way to fix this problem, as I am sure this has happened to someone else who actually knows something about windows. I'm using winx64, and for some reason firefox executes, although nothing else does including regedit, cmd, etc...

Sorry if I am just not doing something that is probably very easy, I have yet to delve much into windows. Thanks in advance, and I hope to hear from someone with an answer soon. Feel free to call me an idiot because I feel like a lost one right now.

- Thanks

Thank you very much, I hope you didn't go thru too much trouble for that. I was trying to climb my way out of a hole without the use of my arms (since I couldn't even open up regedit, heh).

I thought maybe there was just something that was misdirecting in the folder option settings, didn't think it would be that big of a problem.

But thanks for your time to help me fix this problem.
