Do i need a disk to setup up a raid with Vista?

That is kind of a nebulous question, don't you think? I have an Intel Mobo with an embedded raid controller (ich7r) and Vista loaded up and installed my raid setup just fine. While Vista supports a raid configuration using my mobo and chipset, that certainly doesn't mean that it will work with your unknown setup.

The best answer anyone can really give you for your question is maybe.
