Just got a new V551. When I set an alarm the phone activates the web
browser. Why? Can I set an alarm without using the browser?

Huh? My 551 alarms just nag me until I respond, which is what an alarm
clock is supposed to do. I don't know how to connect the 551 alarm
function to the internet, and I don't think I want to know.
