don't waste your time with anything other then Acronis True Image, its the best.
the best way is to install Acronis true image then make a rescue media then boot from the rescue CD and clone you HDD there 
being using it for years and works like a charm
others don't do as good of a job and stay away from making images, cloning is the best way
