you formated the hdd clean and not you want to restore it back to how it was? with windows and all ?

Please Feel free to give a try at Stellar Phoenix... You wont probably manage to recover the Original OS but you might recover documents from the computer... remember to connect the custommer HDD in another computer as slave and dont recover the files directly to the HDD you are trying to recover from...
