So I'm trying to install Vista 64 in my new system, but everytime when it's loading it halts my system, and lists a few memory addresses. However, I just put in the 32-bit disc and it loaded up just fine, so what's up with that?

It also doesn't like either of my hard disks, saying that they do not meet vista's criteria for installation. The only criteria I'm aware of is that it wants a 20Gb partition at minimum, which I gave it.

e6600
evga 680i a1 (most recent bios version is being used)
4Gb Mushkin xtreme performance DDR2 800
evga 8800 gtx
Western Digital 80Gb sataII
Samsung 500Gb sataII
Lite-On sata DVD/Lightscribe burners
Thermaltake Kandalf LCS

Thanks in advance guys.

Update: got vista 32 installed, was just being a noob. Still have to see about 64 though.

setup looks good, everything should install. have you run memtest86+ to make sure the memory is good?

I have two systems with standard '1.8v' pc-6400 corsair memory that won't run properly on anything less than 2.04v. However, once I did set my 5-5-5-18 memory to 2.04v and completed all of my memory test, I found that I could also run them reliably at 4-4-4-12!!! :)
