Hi ... I just bought my first core 2 duo pc ...

CORE2 DUO E4300
Gigabyte GA965P-DS3 REV 3.3
A-DATA Vitesta DDR2 800+ Extreme || 2GB Dual Kit
GIGABYTE ATI RADEON X1950PRO 256 MB
SEAGATE 160 GB SATA2 HDD
PIONEER 111D DVDRW
RAIDMAX SMILODON CASE
DELUXE 600W DUAL 12V RAIL PSU

I need u'r sugestions on selecting a silent and compatible cooler with my mobo for oc'ing to 3000 and hold it cool. Also what should I choose for cooling motherboard chpset (it's really hot when oc'ed).

What are the best options from Thermaltake. Is the Thermaltake Big Typhoon cooler instalable on my mobo? Or are there better options from the view of price and performance? Any sugestion is more than welcomed :).

This is my first post on this site. Waiting for u'r replies. Thanks in advance.

I just put the scythe in today. I haven't OC'd it yet. I have to get this raid setup and straitened out before I start to OC. Super quiet and runs about 2 degrees C cooler than the stock cooler.

I have the Zalman 9500 and it is working great.

30 C at idle and 50 - 52 C under full load. This is with an OC to 2.8 on an eVGA 680i mb. I am gonna switch to Artic Silver and see if I can get another 1 - 2 C of cooling.
