Ive been trying to cut down on the number of programs that run in the back ground of my computer, and im curious on what services are needed to transfer files from 1 computer to another.

Ive already shut down most of the items that I dont need. Like indexing, it always slows down my computer are the worst times, etc.

Anyways I want to make sure that im not shutting down needed files for my home network.

Just be aware that turning off some services will indirectly shut off other services.
