Info on asus site is a little confusing, can anyone confirm if this combo is ok? the MB is the Alife edition

I don't think so. It has the nforce 4 chipset which is older then the current nvidia chipsets...

you want this one or any other MB that uses 650/680 (if you want nvidia chipset)

yes(i guess its no i read the asus specs) but do not expect any higher then 1200-1300fsb -- i guess it does not!

any 5-series nvidia mobo that does support C2D will only run 300-325mhz - north bridge overheats and has low voltage of 1.55 maz - i think? based on the older the p5n
