I have a nvidia geforce 6800 graphics card and i want to get nview or a program similiar to it. I'd like to have a program that can manage dual monitors. Ultramon is a good program for this, but it doesn't do exaclty waht i would like it to. I want it so that when i'm in game i can just get my mouse to the other monitor and be able to switch back and forth without minimizing my game. Ultramon minimizes my game but i'm not sure about nview. I tried getting Nview but when i was just about finished installing it, it said that it wasnt compatible with my hardware. which doesnt make much sense, because hardware shouldn't matter. so does anyone know of a program/way that i can get what i want?

You're asking the impossible - games played like this run on full screen on your designated primary display. The only solution I can think of is to run the game in a windows at as close a resolution to your native gaming as possible, and then try swtiching out to the other monitor. Depending on the game's individual characteristics, it may or may not minimise.

You can try a vmware alternative, running the game in a vm window. However, for most of today's intense graphic games, it's probably not a solution I would highly recommend.
