Hi

I have got a 17" tft panel attached via a VGA lead on my secondary output
I want to reduce the visible screen size to about 2/3 of normal area
ideally retaining native resolution
full screen = 1280x1024
half size = 1140x512

can this be done (I have seen it on an old laptop)

thanks for any suggestions

Phil

It can be done, I don't remember what setting it is, but it can be done. My question is why? Staring at a small box with a large black border all the way around isn't my thing... but I suppose if you like it, go for it.

Ahhh... I see. Well, if the monitor will let you, there may be a setting to either stretch the image to full screen or leave it as is when displaying lower than native resolutions. Not all monitors have this setting, but I believe most newer ones should...
