hello,
I've owned an HP5555 for over a year. I get the following message after
about 10 minutes of use, even after a full change"extended battery low, to
prevent possible data loss, blah, blah" . This is followed shortly by an
extended battery fault message. My main battery lasts for 5-6 hours. Is
their anyway to re-charge or reset the extended battery or is it a gonner?

Thanks

Hi

The Lithium-ion battery that your device is equeped with is best of not to
be compleatly descharge, in fact often compleate discharges can damage the
battry. however the pocket pc can get confused about the battry time if it
is not discharge sometimes. i think that is what has append here. keep using
your pda until it automaticly shutdown and then charge it up to full.

futher explanation is here http://www.pda-faq.com/content/view/74/33/
