Windows 98 Add User

I added a new user in Windows 98. I want this user to access the local machine, not the network but I don't see that option.

It's possible to do, but only if you log into an NT domain or just simply have no network shares.

Depends what the OP means by "the network". If he means general TCP/IP networking then it's not going to be easy!

There's a policy editor in 98 (Poledit), but I'm not sure if that would help restrict access or not. I've never used it to do that, I've only used it to change the network path for the Windows setup files.
