The biggest factor in that setup achieving an amazing score is the QX6700 at 4880mhz not so much the ultra.

Well no, the 3dtest is weighted to the GPU not the CPU. CPU power will help but these guys are constantly trying to break high scores with stupidly high CPU OC's.

Well yes. Admittedly the 8800 ultra may allow the records to nudge upward but the quad is the biggest factor with 3dmark06. That is exactly why when you look at his results he uses a qx6700 for 3dmark06 and a x6800 for 05 and 03.

8O 8O 8O Holy crap, my eyes nearly fell out of their sockets. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm feeling about two inches tall right now. My humble setup is a piece of outdated junk compared to that.

well the 8800 still gets bottlenecked on our cpu's unless u oc the shít out of it.. see what penryn did when they tested it :lol:
