Thermal Paste: Intel Core 2 Duo E6420

Anyone know whether thermal paste or tape is better? And is it worth buying special paste like ArticSilver etc? Any recommended brands?

Paste > tape, unless you NEED the stickiness (NOT for a CPU).

Arctic Silver 5 or Arctic Silver Ceramique are two well known and good products from AS. Some people here will also recommend some stuff from Shen Etsu or other companies. Don't worry. They're all fairly easy to apply and remove (rubbing alcohol).

Ceramique, actually. I think it's cheaper, too. It tends to be a little bit stickier, as well.
