hi there,

This is gonna seem like a stupid question: where could I, online, get hold of some old plastic 'runners' for fitting drives into my case?

lemme explain. I have a MicroATX case, it's got 2 slots for Hard drives / HDD size units. I currently have a 15.3gb drive plugged in and have just bought a 60gb drive. I'd like to put both in (60gb as a slave storage).

BUT, the current HDD has a small plastic-runner down one side that helps it fit in better (I suppose the case was designed so you could fit slightly bigger drives in). I've lost any that I had that came with the case :(

Anyone got any ideas? I'm sure I can screw the drive in and stick something in to "pad" it out, but that doesn't sound a good idea...

If worst come to the worst I'll just replace the 15gb with the 60gb... but that would require a complete reinstall of the system, and 75gb sounds much better than 60gb :)

Jack;

your probly out of luck trying to find those parts, even if you found them you would pay an arm and a leg for it. as far as attatching the hard drive, just make some spacers out of whatever you have lying around, carboard what ever. its not like the drive is going to jump around.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal
