Hello,
i have a dell desktop, and i cannot get a wifi signal on my cell phone. how do i congfigure so that i can get wifi from my desktop so i can catch the signal on my cell phone?

yes you can turn your windows 7 pc into a wireless hotspot--if you have the right setup--ie pc wired to the router and a wireless card in the pc or 2 wireless cards

or just connect your phone to your router if its a wireless router--your phone must support wifi

If you don't already have a wifi router you can buy a wifi usb adapter for your computer for as cheap as $10, and configure it to share your internet connection. Then your phone could use that wifi signal to get onto the internet when you are within its range.
