if you know what you are doing CCleaner has a good registry cleaner but make sure you backup registry first before you make any changes

There's a free registry cleaner program I use called Reg Clean or Reg Cleaner. Not sure where I got but I think if might be from Microsoft. Never had a problem with it.

I also use RegCleaner, i don't think its from MS, but great utility nevertheless. I also use CCleaner and Lexun RegScrubXP both are totally recomended.
