I have an Gateway. It rus Windows ME and Pentium 3. Recently I turned it on and a blue message came up(BSOD) it said system halted. Please restart computer. I have tons of pics, songs and documents on it. I haven't installed or uninstalled anything. How can I fix it?

Restart it. You won't lose anything. If it happens multiple times per day, then you have a problem. Windows ME is known for its instability and problems.
Without the actual error, we can't help you any further. Windows can halt and bluescreen for a multitude of reasons.
