i recently reinstalled windows xp pro on my computer, i downloaded all the updates, installed all the drivers etc... so everything was running perfect untill i tried to install a game. as normal it asks me to accept the user agreement but nothing appears, i mean no words. then i click next and it gives me an error message that directx9.0c is not installed and tells me to download it form microsoft. so i downloaded it but still says the same... help!!

Looks like a corrupt install. Try reinstalling xp since installing 9.0c doesnt work.
