I seem to be good a braking thing on my computer. Im learning about how the registry and boot files really work. Therefor I am alway reinstalling software. Adobe is getting tired of me calling to active. i need to know where the activation files are hidden inside xp. I dont mind reinstalling the programs after a clean install, but I feel there is a way to copy the activation. Im certain there will be a day when adobe says enough.

I've run into a similar problem with a Coral program and from talking with the activation person it seems like when you install a program that requires activation during install you go to the web site and the site looks at the SN# and if it's been activated, they may allow more than one actication, e.g., 3 or 5, once this number has been exceeded, you have to call them. If this is how in fact it works, there really is nothing you can do because it's handled on their end.

serials are encrypted in the registry, or where ever they are at. some places will double check your serial to make sure you registrations exist on their end also.

XP has 2 files that it uses for activation that you can get around.

As far as individual software.. You're honestly better off finding a crack to use as long as you own the legitimate software.

I thought these were legitimate forums. I'm shocked the moderator would recommend using cracked software.
