Do you get this message before you even get to the install interface?

You may need to use option F6 or F7 to select a different HAL.. pick a NON-ACPI HAL which should be listed. You'll lose your power features like a full shutdown/turn off but that's not a huge deal.

Forget it, managed to install it then once I get into windows, services randomly shut down (explorer.exe, iexplorer.exe etc), windows update doesn't work, try to install graphics drivers and other drivers and the system crashes.

Utter joke.

Did you update your BIOS? If not that may be the issue, i had the same problem with my Gigabyte board which has a dual BIOS main and backup, i forgot to update the backup and was getting that message, after i did it problem went away.

Also, what kind of codes are you getting with your blue screen? I suggest you write them down and checkout microsofts error codes that may help as well.
