hello.! my sister in law has an old laptop(windows 98) but it is locked..so she does not know any passwork to unlock it..help please..thaks..for your time.

You can try with this:
Download THIS, burn the software in a CD and boot from this.
Go to Password tools, Active Password Changer, scan your drives, select the drive and user, uncheck and check again the tow X that the window show you. Reboot the PC an try to log in again with the same user BUT without password.
