watercooling gpu - how many heatsinks needed for the rest?

i think about buying either a x1950xt or a 8800gts (rather latter one right now).
i get a liquid cooling system from a friend of mine quite cheap, including a gpu cooler.
problem: i am not willing to buy a new complete cooling block just for a specific card. i would rather cool the gpu only and use heatsinks for the ram/mosfet.

can you please tell me how i find out how many of those i need?
is there anywhere a site with "naked" (no air cooler attached) graphics cards?
